All submitted manuscripts to OMBAI: Journal of Marine and Fisheries Science (JeFS) will be screened for plagiarism and text similarity using Turnitin or iThenticate. The maximum allowable similarity index is 20%, excluding references and properly cited quotations.

Manuscripts that exceed the specified similarity threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or may be rejected, depending on the extent and nature of the similarity detected.
