All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Sustainable Borderland Animal Agriculture (JSBAA) undergo a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.

Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two reviewers with relevant expertise and competence in the subject area of the submitted manuscript. The review focuses on several key aspects, including research novelty, methodological rigor and quality, scientific contribution, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, and the overall quality of manuscript presentation.

Based on the reviewers' evaluations, the Editor conducts an editorial assessment and makes the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript. The editorial decision takes into consideration the scientific quality of the manuscript and the outcomes of the peer-review process.
